A Conversation With Skeptics Download

Jeff Vines recalls his conversation with a circle of skeptics who challenged him in an Australian hotel restaurant. During the meeting, Vines responds to three major questions all Christians and non-Christians grapple with:

  1. How can we believe in God with so much evil in the world?
  2. How can you claim that God is good and loving with all the pain and suffering in the world?
  3. How could a loving God send anyone to Hell?

This six-page resource originally appeared as a three-part series in Christian Standard.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Answers to Three Difficult Questions
by Jim from Langhorne, PA on 8/9/2009
Recommends it to Friends: Yes
This series of three articles provides a solid Biblical approach for witnessing to people who have done some serious thinking about spiritual matters, but are openly hostile to Christianity. Clear answers, without becoming bogged down in complex theological arguments, are provided to three of the most common objections: the problem of evil, the problem of pain, and the problem of hell. If you spend much time talking to seekers, it wont be long before these concepts will come in very handy. I would not recommend this series as a handout to seekers, but as one to prepare you for talking directly with them.
